Hi Julie, thank you for such a lovely comment on my blog…I am blushing!!
My smocking was inspired by Margie Bauer of Australian Smocking and Embroidery fame. Those dresses were made in the late 1980s, early 1990s.
I haven’t smocked much for a long time…..I am hoping I will have a grand daughter to smock for one day.
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Hi, Great blog,
I would like to know how can I get the subscription of the smocking magazine. I live in Guatemala C.A.
Thank you
Ana
Do I bid on these dresses? How does this work?
The smocked clothing on My Smocked Dress is streamed from eBay. When you click on an item, you go to eBay to see the details and description. You need an eBay account to bid on an item.
I would like to know how I can buy these smock dresses or any of the clothing? I didn’t see where you could. I thought you could click on one and buy it. Please let me know. Are they all new?
Thanks,
Sharon
All of the smocked children’s clothing on My Smocked Dress is streamed from eBay. Many vendors sell new smocked outfits with tags, but usually at a substantial discount over brick and mortar boutique shops since they have less overhead on eBay. Besides those new smocked items, there are many gently used items available at much greater savings. So that is the way the site, My Smocked Dress works. Let me know if you have any more questions.
