    the smocked dresses are addictive – i’m scheming about what i can make for myself now with smocking too!

    Hi Julie, thank you for such a lovely comment on my blog…I am blushing!!

    My smocking was inspired by Margie Bauer of Australian Smocking and Embroidery fame. Those dresses were made in the late 1980s, early 1990s.

    I haven’t smocked much for a long time…..I am hoping I will have a grand daughter to smock for one day.
