I came across this boys smocked easter outfit today that I wanted to share. The little smocked bunnies that decorated the insert of this smocked Easter shortall are some of the cutest bunny designs that I have ever see. They are sure to delight every child and adult when worn to Easter services.

This picture is from the eBay listing and apparently, there are matching smocked Easter bunny dresses available for sisters. I know that some of you routinely look for smocked brother sister outfits for special events like Easter, so this Easter design might be worth considering.

The only problem I see is that being NEW, these smocked clothes are more expensive than many of the clothes that are featured on this blog. We all know that pre-owned clothing is usually the most discounted, but even the new smocked clothes are cheaper than at local boutique stores almost always. There surely are exceptions when the smocked clothes on eBay are overpriced, put not many. So always compare prices if saving is important to you.

"WOW, I am so sad to see this go.  I bought this from a fellow ebayer.  My daughter wore it once for pictures.  They turn out so awesome. My daughter has blue eyes and this outfit sure brought her eyes out. The size tag says 3m and by three mommas.Three mommas tend to run big.  It has a brown gingham bow in the back of the romper. The buttons might need a few stiches on them to make them tighter. It has snaps in the leg area for easy diaper changing. I have only one of these.  I have it listed as a best offer and just now on auction.  Which one sells first then I will end the other one.  The best offer is getting ready to end in couple of days so I wanted to get it listed."

It is in excellent used condition - no rips stains or tears.

This is a precious Sir John design by Rosalina. This  smocked Jon Jon or shortall with a matching dress shirt is perfect for Christmas events. This particular eBay listing is size 24 Months by it may be available in other sizes as well. It comes in 65% Polyester/35% Cotton which is Christmas red and white and of medium weight broadcloth. The Jon Jon has gentle underarm side elastic that makes it nice and comfortable for a little boy to wear. It has a snapped crotch for easy changes and is lined  in the front and back of the bodice. The shortall buttons at the shoulders.  It comes with a crisp white co-ordinating short sleeve shirt that may come in handy for other outfits and rompers. The shirt has back buttons and a lovely  Peter Pan collar. With this romper, your little boy will be all set for Christmas festivities!

The edge is piped along the hand-smocked insert which features a colorful 3D Santa riding a  horse down at the barn. The design meshes Christmas with a country theme. The mini gingham is one of my favorite fabrics for children's clothing. It is just bright enough, but not so bright that it takes away from a child's sweet face.

Here we have an adorable boys Christmas shortall made of green fine wale corduroy The focus of the outfit is the Gingerbread Man Applique. Every little boy knows the story of the gingerbread man and we all love to make and eat gingerbread at Christmas time. The Bailey Boys have created a delightful reversible shortall that is really fun for a child to wear for a special occasion. The reverse size is less decorated, since it doesn't have an applique design. It is made of green baby gingham and has green buttons on either side at the waist that match the buttons at the shoulders. For those who sew clothing for children:
Reversible rompers are made by taking two separate rompers and then pinning them right sides together. Then you sew around the leg hem of each leg, then around the neckline (where the facing would go) leaving a small spot to turn it right side out. Then you turn it right side out, press, and close the hole with a little fusible tape or some tiny hand stitching. Last, you can topstitch it.

I love this Anavini smocked bishop dress with long sleeves.  The dress features a smocking design on the yoke. The colorful Christmas ornaments of red, pink, purple,green , and gold hang from the red smocked trimming at the edge of the dress's yolk. The bottom hem of the white dress is embellished with rick rack which tops of the white dress with red at the top and red at the bottom.

Another precious Anavini outfit is a Smocked Reindeer Longall in Size 24 months. Though this one is not new, the seller says that it is Like new! Absolutely perfect condition! The bright red longall is made of soft red corduroy fabric. The smocking includes three little reindeer adorned with holly around the neck. This longall buttons at the front of the overall and also snaps between legs for easy changing. (FOR BARGAIN HUNTERS: I count it a plus if a clothing item is used, but in perfect or excellent condition because the price is always way better than new, but the difference in the final item is very little.)
